EXPLORE THE PROJECT

So it begins . . .

The Sacred Stories Project is just getting started. Over the coming months, this space will fill with stories from young adults, reflections from our community, and glimpses into the gatherings, partnerships, and creative work taking shape across Santa Barbara and at Westmont.

At the heart of the project is a simple conviction: we understand our own lives differently when we have the chance to tell our stories – and to listen closely to the stories of others. Through community partnerships, a yearlong fellowship for young adults, Becoming & Belonging grants, and public events, we’re creating spaces to explore questions of vocation, faith, identity, and the people we are becoming.

We’d love for you to be part of what comes next. Join us October 1 for the Sacred Stories Project kickoff, an evening to gather, hear more about the vision for the project, and begin this work together. And check back here soon: there are many more stories to come.

Advice to My Past Self

We asked members of the Presidential Alumni Council to reflect on what they would share with their younger selves, knowing all that they know now.

What would you tell yourself on Westmont Graduation day, knowing what you know now?
